1. You enter each opening’s width and height; we total your protected square footage.
2. That square footage is multiplied by the installed price range for your chosen shutter type to give a low-to-high estimate covering materials and professional installation.
3. Motorized roll-down options add a per-opening upcharge.
4. Coastal counties run roughly 10–20% higher than inland areas, reflecting salt-air hardware and labor demand.
5. We estimate annual insurance savings (typically 15–30% of the wind premium for a documented, code-compliant install) and a simple payback period.

What the estimate does — and doesn’t — include

The range covers typical materials and professional installation.
